Nereis heard there was a "Water-themed mini fashion show" - or more exactly, Aemyth enthusiastically harrassed her until she accept to check on it - after all, the blue former prophet Guardian originated from the Sea of Thousand Currents and was the young Water Ambassador of Clan Ogrenat ! What could possibly be more watery than her ?

Nereis put on her fin jewels she wore with great pride and looked at her reflection in the water pool inside her den.
The blue light on her forehead, proof of her link with the Tidelord - yet very dull since His mysterious disappearance - enlighted her deep blue scales, but Nereis sighted.
Something is missing...
Her jewels fitted very well on her, she knew it, and she accepted them as well as the role of Water Ambassador, but she wasn't sure she really deserved them - she wasn't sure she was up to the task they implied.
But she left the clan anyways, swimming siftly to the place where the contest was settled - anxiety flowing her veins.

When she arrived, she spotted from afar the small pack of contestants - all beautiful fully-in-phase-with-water dragons, from every origin and horizon.
Stress overwhelmed her and she stayed still by the river's side, unable to move.
Something is really missing about me...
Nereis frowned anxiously.
I need one of Erhune's artifacts. Perhaps it will guide me on my very own path...
She stayed silent, even in her own mind, for a second, afraid of her next thought.
And I shall stop being afraid of my own gift and speciality.
Then Nereis turned towards the river, decided to leave the contest.
