BIOGRAPHY


XXXThe young Pearlcatcher known as Xenadelphia was born in the Calyx Coven to two dragons who didn't stick around for long after she hatched. Her parents just up and disappeared one night, without taking her with them. She doesn't know where they went and hasn't seen them since. Since she was still so young when her parents left her, she was raised in the Hatchery by Rheawen and the other Hatchery Mothers.

XXXXenadelphia and her mate, Lochlaios, grew up together at the Hatchery and later went on to the Coven’s Academy together. She thought it was sad that he had hatched completely alone and had lived for so long all by himself. The two of them slowly became friends during their Academy years and later became mates after graduating. Delphi is sad when Loch has to go away on Messenger duty, but he always brings her back a little trinket from wherever he went off to. She keeps her collection on a shelf in their den.

XXXDelphi, who hates being called Xena, as she thinks it sounds like some strange warrior princess's name or something, was taught magic at the Academy and graduated as a Mage. She was interested in becoming a Mage for the Calyx Coven after watching some of the Coven’s Mages practicing their magic in the Coven Square during a festival when she was still in the Hacthery. Delphi’s specialization is growing vines rapidly, which she can use in many different ways such as to help craft dens or to tangle up a dragon during battle.

XXXCurrently, Delphi is the Mentor for a Mage Apprentice named Lunanorra. While Delphi tries her best to get Luna to concentrate on her studies, the young Pearlcatcher finds it difficult due to her fear of failure. Luna is always questioning herself. She has low self-esteem and feels like her older and younger sisters are better at everything. Delphi is doing her best to combat her Apprentice's doubts, but she has been finding it difficult.

XXXFuzz is Delphi’s Goldenplains Poodle Mith Familiar. Rheawen and the other Hatchery Mothers chose for Delphi to be partnered with the Mith when it was time for her to move on to the Academy. As they had all raised her together, the Mother dragons of the Hatchery thought it would be a nice gesture if they found her someone to move on to her next stage of life with, as well as to celebrate her achievements at the Hatchery. Fuzz helps Delphi with her magic, as the Poodle Mith can wield the elemental energies of the land.
