Quote:
I think there was a spirit in the house I lived in when I was 6. It gave me an out-of-body experience twice! The first time it just picked my spirit up and immediately dropped it - this freaked me out. The second time it picked my spirit up and started swinging it forwards and backwards. When I broke away from THAT one, I rolled over and locked my arms tightly around my mum so that it couldn't pick me up again (also, during both OOBEs, I could hear cheering, and therefore imagined a crowd of vikings. What was also strange, is that (at least in the second one) I felt the blanket come off me, as if the ghost was lifting my PHYSICAL body).

I was gonna post this to that thread but this is really long wrote:
  • When I was 2-5 years old, I remember seeing a shadow-bird-creature dive into the floor of the laundry in the corner of my eye.
  • I also remember that there were these creatures I believed to live under my bed. They were numerous, and the size if mice. They were called "doodoos" and they were pitch black, had long trumpet-shaped mouths, and had the eyes of Marvin the Martian. They wore no clothes, but they had no toes or fingers. I can't remember why, but I was scared of them. And when I was 8 (I had moved houses twice since the other house), I imagined a scenario with them at the zoo, where they were poisonous and could kill an adult human with a single touch. They ended up escaping and killing everyone (this one's a bit silly. It might've just been my imagination and nothing paranormal at all).

  • When I was 5, we moved house. This one was surely haunted in some way. My mum says that she would often hear footsteps in the hallway, and think that one of us (my sister and I) had gotten up from bed. When she'd look, there'd always be nothing there.
  • (I was either 5 or 6 in this one, because I had my 6th birthday in this house) I remember one night when I was trying to go to sleep, I rolled over in my bed (it was a bunk bed, and I slept on the top) and heard this creaking sound. It sounded either like a rocking chair, a rocking cradle, or the footsteps of my Mini Roboraptor. I adjusted myself a bit more and heard it again. I hid under the blanket, with only the top of my head and a bit of my hand poking out, I think it sounded again. Then, to test it to see if it was just my movement rocking the bed, I slightly moved my finger. It sounded again, and I was terrified. I imagined that it was either a ghost rocking a cradle or chair by the window, or that my Roboraptor (I imagined it as my larger-sized one, though) was going to come up the stairs and into my bed.
  • At one point in that "new" house (5 - 6 years old), my sister, mum and I slept on a mattress on the floor in her room (I think it was maybe because my sister and I were too scared to sleep in our own room, and maybe something happened to Mum's bed frame (so we were sleeping on a mattress on the floor).

Anyway, one night, when I was almost asleep, I had a sort of out-of-body experience; my spirit was being lifted out of my physical one. I could hear cheering, and see a much stronger filter of white noise over my vision (being very young, I imagined a crowd of vikings cheering the spirit that was lifting me). I broke from it, and was a little freaked out, but I still tried to go to sleep. It happened again, but this time, it lasted longer and once the spirit had brought me high enough, it started to swing me gently back and forth. When I broke from that one, I rolled over and locked my arms tightly around my mum, so that the spirit couldn't pick me up again.
  • Another time in that same house, I was wandering around the garden and saw a man behind the house. All I can really remember of his appearance is that he wore a red shirt, and was sort of "not there"... a bit like that one episode of Land of the Lost, "Split Personality" with the "other Holly". I told my mum, but I can't really remember how I worded it, or how she responded. I went to check again, but I could not find him (note that this event happened before I had ever even heard of Land of the Lost).

  • Now, this one happened very recently. It happened in the house we just moved from, and I can remember that I was 14. I heard someone whisper "I hate you" in my ear. A few days/weeks later I heard the same voice whisper my name in my ear.
  • When I was 13, I was lying on the couch, either drawing, on my phone or playing a video game, when a piece of jaggedly cut, black paper landed on my ankle. It came from nowhere, and it was so weird.

Another name meme because these are fun?!

1. Take the first two letters from your favourite fr breed
2. Add the first vowel of your name
3. then add the last three letters of your middle name (or, if you don’t have a middle name, use your last name!)

Mine would be Guanna! Reblog and tell me yours!

Y'know those small and really thin books (that weren't school journals) that Juniors got for reading activities? It was one of those. I think it might've had the reading level written on the back, like most made-for-school books had (I'm 98% sure it was made-for-school). On the cover was a spaceship, floating above a planet in space. Or it could've been a space station orbiting the planet. It wasn't as little-kid-friendly as the other Junior books, if I remember correctly (like, I don't remember it being fun, silly, or that happy. And the art style was comic-book style or similar; semi-realistic). It's title was something like Papaya, Poppaea, Papyae, Paeyap... et cetera, et cetera, and so on and so forth.

I remember the plot was something like: a man landed on a space station (?) and was trying to find people (or maybe just one man; like, a scientist or something) and possibly bring them back to Earth. While exploring the station, he found a strange plant growing throughout. It (the plant) was named after the book, or rather, the book after it.

I can't remember if he ended up finding any live - or sane - people, but I think at the end he found the man he was looking for... dead in a chair by some monitors on the wall (classic sci-fi monitor wall, like). That might've been the last image in the "book", I can't remember. Also, he might've just been fainted in his chair. I remember the image being a close up of his face hanging upside down (because he had fainted back in his chair, so his head was hanging down like in this image (but he was sitting in a chair normally like this, as in he wasn't lying across the chair like that lady)) and his eyes might've been open. Actually, I think the plants were the reason for the stuff like this happening. Like, maybe the plants had some sort of gas toxin that killed everyone or made everyone mad.

I hadn't seen it since I was a Junior until one year my sister had brought it home for a reading activity. I was like, "Thank GOODNESS", because I have previously felt the same way I do now; "what the heck was that book's name?".

I'm from New Zealand, and I don't know if this "book" was available in other countries.

If you can help in any way, please do!

Now... For images that make me feel that weird nostalgic feeling... or even that "this is new" nostalgic feeling:

Maybe I should just call them inspirational pictures... (also, yeah, NONE of these photos are mine. ZERO. NAUGHT. ZILCH. I just... found them on Google images... Also, what the heck compelled you to look this deep into my dragon's bio? Well... you do you, I guess...)
