Though extremely forgetful and not very bright, Ania possesses a seemingly infinite knowledge of plant species. She makes herself useful gathering many edible varieties for the clan, and warning her fellow dragons against dangerous or poisonous plants. She also thoroughly enjoys caring for and listening to the incoherent babble of the clan hatchlings.

Ania always wears a scarf, though it is rarely cold enough in the sun-soaked city to really need it. Hatchlings love to play tug-of-war with it.

Similar to werewolves, Moonbeasts undergo a Moon-influenced transformation. However, there are major differences. All have a permanent beast-like appearance and by night they 'lose control' becoming savage, bloodthirsty, and destructive.

The degree to which they lose control depends on the phase of the moon.

Physical features such as claws, fangs, and muscular build might become more pronounced and exaggerated as the moon phase progresses towards Full. Some Moonbeasts have worked so hard to discipline themselves that they only lose complete control on nights of a Full Moon.
