• Azrail once hailed from a section of the earth territories. He met Devnashi when they were young and they married soon after. Pavle met both of them shortly after they arrived in their new arcane territory and joined their matrimony at a later date.
• He is a firm but fair king. He will do what he must to keep the region safe and wishes to make amends with the Helix Districts. They are still, in his eyes, his people.
• The ever-growing crime factions in Helix Districts get bolder and bolder each day and he worries about the measures he may have to take against them.
• Pavle is Azrail's partner both romantically and studious wise. The two of them grew very close when Pavle was brought in to assist the king in the record and laws of their new kingdom. Devanshi enjoys having two husbands to spoil.
Role: Ruler of the Citadel and overseer for the sovereign region.

Azrail will not discuss why he left the earth territories with his wife. There are few things he keeps secret about because he wishes to remain as open as possible to all subjects far and wide. However, he will not say a word on why he and Devanshi left the area they were born and raised in to start a new providence in the land of the arcane.
His relationship with his partners and family are steady and healthy. He wants what is best for his daughter, Sydney, and supports her in all she does. Even if her antics and adventures scare him sometimes.
His parents are both long gone but he feels he is doing them proud.
Azrail and his wife have both embraced the magic of their new home and allowed it to take form around them. The magic may have given him an extra feature or two but fighting against these forces almost seems taboo. It's unthinkable to consider fighting the forces that protect him and his nation.
The king is assisted in all his day-to-day duties by Arison. A centaur who has known Azrail since childhood and is his most loyal friend.
