Biography
Zemira
- The Scorned Princess - The little perfume bottle watched its mistress pace to and fro about her room; her large, unkempt mane whipped free from its once immaculate braid as her wings let forth gusts borne of frustration. "Wherever did my topaz brooch go? Lightweaver-- by the Eleven! It was so terribly expensive, I simply cannot attend the soirée without it. It was to be the shining star of my ensemble!" The dusky pearlcatcher sighed in defeat, burying her snout into her hands as she rested in front of her vanity. "I suppose I should stop looking, the party begins not too long from now. At least I have this lovely perfume that old woman gave me. Who knew the commoner market carried such fine wares nowadays?" The dragoness mused, holding the small perfume bottle aloft in her hands. It was a lovely pink glass, carved delicately into the likeness of a pearlcatcher. Shimmering flakes of gold outlined the eyes and nozzle. With a preppy hmph, she spritzed the rich, dusky fragrance into her deep pthalo mane. "Ahh I wish this bottle would never run empty!" She sighed in luxury. "Such a wonderful smell." For a moment, she thought she saw the slightest flicker of movement coming from the glass face of the bottle. As she brought it up for closer inspection, the transparent figurine seemed lifeless like before. The pearlcatcher disregarded what she thought seemed to be a speck of a grin, and instead got up, heading towards the magnificent arched doorway of her room. "Brooch or no brooch, there's no way I will go unnoticed smelling this enchanting!" She asserted-- and with that, she was gone. Moments passed in silence, before the soft twinkling of shifting glass could be heard. The little fragrance bottle from before was now alive, resting on the edge of the vanity; a sinister grin marked its features once again. This time, it was not hidden away, but wide and toothy, with the most malicious intent. "Enjoy your little parties and foolery for now, darling girl. Nary a few more sprays, and your body will be primed to contain even the most vast of ancient souls. Then, for once in your life you'll finally fulfill an actual purpose." The little bottle sneered its glass fangs, producing an icy clinking that bounced around the aristocrat's chamber. How Zemira loved to observe and take advantage the idle follies of the rich. |
filler filler filler filler filler Shady Origins of Power Zemira’s magical prowess was passed down through the women of her family. She learned from her mother, who learned from her mother, as so on. Most of the magic practiced by her family was simple and practical, with Zemira being the first to look into more potent magics. This is in part why she was so villified; rumors spread that her foremothers had used their sorcery to ensnare their husbands and amass power. -- snippet from WrightNDesk |

[Once Zemira ripped the body from the noble she now inhabits, she tried her best to keep up with their previous grooming habits. Niveara, the former soul, was always prim and proper, not a thread out of place. While Zemira tries to keep true to this, she was never good at being immaculate. Her hair tends to fall a mess around her shoulders, undone and curly. This, paired with her now spiteful eyes, was seen by her current 'family' as the start to their mother's 'strange behavior'. Niveara was ensnared by Zemira shortly after her husband, the King's, death. This was no coincidence, as that critical opening made Niveara the current ruler of Acrypia. For generations, Zemira had failed to obtain a vessel from the current seat of power. The most she could do was impede their rule and spread malevolance. Zemira's soul could only embody those who were her descendants, and many of the families in power since her time weren't always so, given her family being purged, slaughtered and villified after her trial. But Niveara was the perfect choice. She was far enough removed from her historical family tree that nobody knew her roots, not even her. Better yet, she had mothered a son in line for the throne. A son Zemira now had full access to. A son that had her blood, and a secured birthright. Should she manage to inhabit his body, Zemira could father a lasting empire of vessels to finally cement reign over what should have been her legacy-- Acrypia. So long as she could rid of his older half-brother, of course...] | o o o oooo o o o oooo ooo oo |
