The cool morning air was still as Warmonger sat under a large kapok tree, studying an ancient tome. A large mysterious seed sat in his jaw. All was quiet, save for a few birds calling in the distance. He sighed and closed the book, gently crawling between the roots of the massive tree before him. Once close enough to the inner tangles, he shoved his maw deep within, leaving the seed there. He placed his claws upon the smaller roots and began chanting and snarling an ancient ritual. Slashing his arm with a grimace, Warmonger watched the stream of blood trickle into the roots.

It is ready.

He began to chant, quietly at first.

"Datanglah untuk hidup, sayangku. Ayo maju, kemarilah. Datanglah untuk hidup, sayangku. Ayo maju, kemarilah!" He raised his voice from a growl to shrieking into the morning light. "Tidak ada lagi malam lagi! Kemarilah, bangkit dari akar pohon ek besar! Ambillah hidup, meledaklah sampai malam! Tidak ada lagi malam lagi! Kemarilah, bangkit dari akar pohon ek besar! Ambillah hidup, meledaklah sampai malam!" He snarled in broken draconic, his voice trailing off in a desperate wail. He paused, apprehensively looking down to the seed before him. He winced as he stepped back, now aware of the searing pain in his arm.

He sat, eyes locked to the roots of the tree. The roots shivered with life and small cracking sounds could be heard within the enclosure. He sat patiently at the spectacle before him. The tree shook, a quiet pop occurred, and the roots began to wither away from the seed's place. A claw poked out from among the roots, followed by a lanky, feathered arm, until the face of a nearly identical adult skydancer burst out from the opening. Her steps were carefully placed, gentle, and almost unsettling as she slunk towards her creator. Her glassy, darkened eyes locked with Warmonger's as she moved to stand before him.

He stood to greet her, "My lady Warmaiden, you will have eyes only for me." She gave a silent nod, her deep earthy eyes still locked with his. He looked her over now, sun rising to illuminate her rich red hide and leafy, translucent wings. He smiled at his creation, touching his beaktip to hers, speaking softer now, "I am yours, too." She brushed her beak against his, and touched a claw to the slash on his arm, muttering softly, "Then let me heal you."
"Gladly." He smiled.
