Biography
Nightmare (Personal Plague Subspecies) -Created by Shadow
Nightmares are dragons from the Plague lands who were dipped in the wyrmwound and their shells cracked allowing the infected plague slime slip into the eggs and affect the growing dragons, the signs lay in the green cracks that spread through the shell and the rotten smell causing many parent dragons to throw the eggs out of fear of death. Once thrown out these dragons hatch usually with rotting wings and cysts all over their bodys making them toxic to get in the same area as them, Nightmares also are violent due to separation from their parents making them little terrors from birth.
Nightmares come in a few variations Rot, Cyst, and Over Blood
Nightmare Variation: Rotting
Nightmares with the rotting variation often shed their skin as its so rotten its too weak to hold on you can usually tell when they show up before their seen due to their unmistakable rotting stench. They are lethal to eat as their skin is covered in flesh eating parasites or rotting flesh which can make a dragon so sick they can fall to the sickness in 2 days.
Nightmare Variation: Cyst
Nightmares with cyst variation are children of The Plague Bringer for certain as they love spreading their sickness to other dragons and often eat only rotten food so they can have disease riddled bites causing dragons to become sick with a variety of sickness's and even the Nightmares sickness due to their saliva. Nightmares with the cyst variation are often friendly at first only to get into a dragons heart and poison them with their plague.
Nightmare Variation: Over Blood
Nightmare Over bloods are dragons covered in cracks in their skin due to being damaged during their wyrmwound dipping and the cracking of their shells resulting in constant blood loss. over bloods often dont move as fast as other dragons due to not wanting to lose too much blood, they must eat over 100 pounds of meat every day just to stay strong and survive replenishing their blood faster then a normal dragon. over blood nightmares often stay away from other dragons as they dont like other dragons seeing their appearance and are very ashamed anytime a dragon is around.
Some Dragons can have more then one Variation combined together into a sickly mixture of torture and madness.
