Born in the water that is the Tide Lord's domain, the thing Pab find the most troublesome is the fact that the shifting expanse where he finds himself at home at is dry. He doesn't quite recall his Naming Ceremony, but those who were there simply told him that when Cid had gleaned his name he had refused it at first. Even as the rest seemed to agree, he had refused, Cid simply laughed it off and repeated the name.

For him it had grown on him as he became one of the best fishing dragons there were, while he did need to often gain the protection of one of the hunting groups in charge of keeping the rest safe, he was far above other's who tried to fish, perhaps it was the fact that he was able to breath water but unlike other water dragons he could not share this ability.

Pab is also the dragon most go to when dying their scales in various bright colors some more permanents then others his own always brushed on with paints and pigments and repainted when ever he gets wet and had dried. For this reason it isn't odd to see him with an entirely new look or for the young to get confused by the pattern to his scales actually seeing the light of day. Except for perhaps three others dragons Pab has one of the steadiest hands in the tribe.
