Thanis was not born with much peace on her side to begin with. Disease and hatred plagued her home like a curse. She never knew what happened to her mother, whether she left or died was unknown to her. Her father was a kind and gentle soul who, like her, was quick to placate aggression and calm a fight. He would always protect those who needed protecting, assist those who asked for his help and help nurture the good that would sprout in others here and there. When he began to speak of a rising queen known as Igus who sought to free those who needed freedom and save those who needed saving, Thanis was instantly entranced.

It wasn't too long after this rising queen rose that she and her father left to join this kingdom. They were greeted with open arms and Thanis was able to meet her hero face to face. It wasn't long after that she began training in the art of words. Working her way to the top as Igus herself once did and making a name of herself as the master of tongues.

After a award winning speech on hope Thanis was recruited into the royal army as a negotiator, able to take seat next to the queen and reason with those who seemed unreasonable. It took awhile to get of her worship and finally get into friendship territory with Igus. They became close, as they shared many ideals and dreams. Friendship soon blossomed into sisterhood. Thanis saw Igus for all her flaws and issues and was able then to see her world as well with clear eyes.

After the battle of Azereth, not only was Thanis able to see the relief in Igus, but she also saw the change.

Thanis would never claim to know Igus's every thought, but she would claim she was good at reading people. She could easy see the strain and the slow unraveling that her queen, her best friend and sister, was going through. As easy as she made it seem, being queen was no easy task. It didn't take much nerve for her to approach Igus. They talked and Igus finally got some things off of her chest and Thnis cleared up some suspcions and it seemed, at that moment, that everything would be okay.

That was the last conversation Thanis, or anyone for that matter, had with Igus.

The very next day as the hour hand struck twelve, Igus disappeared and with her, her kingdom did as well. All Thanis could do in the end was follow and trust her sister as she always did and would forever do.
