Although relatively new to the clan, Hildegarde quickly established herself as resident apothecary. The clan was in dire need of one, and Hilde possessed all the necessary skills and experience. Hilde mostly makes health potions for the coliseum fighters, Neve and Mint, and for the Scouts members. Sometimes she is asked to produce items such as strength boosters or medicines to cure small ills. Hilde enjoys making potions and the like, so she very much enjoys her role. Hilde possesses a mean inquisitive streak, and in her downtime she will mess around with ingredients and create often volatile and unstable products. This is where her biggest customer, Opal, slides in and takes them off her hands. Opal never appears to use these items, but for some reason she buys them all. Hilde is always a bit unsettled after a conversation with Opal although not as much when Opal is accompanied by her apprentice, Moondust. Hilde works closely with Marsh, the clan's mycologist, as he will tell her what chemical properties a new mushroom specimen will have. Ingesting the mushrooms is not the healthiest way to work it out, but it sure is the quickest and Marsh loves to eat them all so it is a win-win for both. Once Hilde was combining a mad assortment of ingredients, striving to create what all mad scientists do- life. Overwhelmed with consecutive failure, she gave up and retired for long overdue sleep. The next morning she found her work bench encased with 5 living radioactive slimes, who quickly stuck themselves onto her. Although Hilde cannot work out how she did it, she was overjoyed with the product and loves her little slimes, who go with her everywhere. At this point, she is unsure how large they will grow...
