NjPRhMD.png 		Buffeted by tall, ice split waves sails a grand ship, its sturdy hull and captain unfazed by the lurking frozen floes. Strong winds blow in its favor as it traverses the deep channel between the Southern Icefield and the Ashfall Waste, seeking a port near the former. The captain clicks her tongue, letting out a low whistle as the mast of a rival ship pokes above the frigid horizon.

It’s always great to have a bit of company.

Too bad it’ll be short lived.

High flies the tattered flag of the other vessel, bearing the emblem of a tangled Emperor, but low flies the first cannonball shot. It misses Frostbite’s ship like the deities missed the destruction they were causing in the First Age.

Disappointing, to say the least—especially for a ship as notorious as the Crimson Emperor, best and worst known for its crew’s savage and merciless ravaging of merchants and other pirates alike.

Frostbite raises and points a wing, signaling her crew to engage. It’ll be over faster than it even started.

“Aye, I’ve always been drawn to the water. Was even a dock rat as a hatchling—the sailors couldn’t keep me out if they tried! Didn’t take long for me to end up on a boat. Just so happens, it was a pirate ship, and now it’s my pirate ship. Wouldn’t change a thing.”
