Eridani

Introverted but ridiculously smart, Eridani grew up in Arcane territory. His parents were mages and he learned directly from them. As he grew and became proficient himself, he began to ask more and more questions about the natural world.

Research became his calling - he had an innate desire to understand things. He travelled around to see things he'd read about and do his own research.

His research brought him to the Star Wood where the magical properties of the blossoming trees baffled him. One night he managed to lose his glasses and found himself stumbling around in the dark when another dragon found him and helped lead him back to civilization and to a lensmaker to replace his lost spectacles.

The two became friends and travelling companions quickly. Elma grew on him and became his closest companion.

Months eventually had them travelling to Light Flight where Eridani finds a job posting for a tutor/scholar for a new clan. Deciding they were growing exhausted of travel and would like to attempt to settle down.

He still teaches the hatchlings there to this day and has a reputation for being the standoff-ish clan tutor who would much rather be reading his books than actually teaching children. He does a good job, however.
