Hekate is not unlike other nocturnes; she is adaptable, her true personality mysterious, and her character many-sided. She can act old beyond her years in one moment, and naive as a hatchling in the next. The one constant feature of her character is her powerful sorcery— her clanmates consult her whenever they are in need of a spell (or a curse). In return for her services, they bring her the bones of animals they find or have eaten, magical herbs, and other objects of sorcery.
She is almost inseparable from her Umbra Wolf familiar, who she calls Hecuba.
