This dragon is based on the Starcraft character with the same name.

Fenix is a strong, fearless, honorable dragon who has faced many foes in his short life. In conversation, he is very straightforward and quite opinionated. In his eyes, few other dragon species can compare themselves to the might of the Imperial breed, and he isn't afraid to make his opinions of other breeds known. Recently, his thoughts have been changed after meeting the equally fearless and just Satya to whom he is mated.
Fenix and Satya met on a training run gone wrong. They were collecting food for the clan when all of a sudden a group of hostile dragons appeared. Fenix demanded Satya to return to the lair for help, but was rendered awestruck (and lovestruck) when she lept in, silks flowing, and drove out the encroaching party. Fenix didn't even wait for her to finish preening her feathers before asking her to be his mate.

Tradition holds a special place in his heart. He can often be seen discussing other elemental cultures with the representative dragons in the lair.

In battle, he is stalwart, holding his ground and fighting until the - either his or his enemy's - last breath. Fight him at your own peril, for he will show you the pride of Templar subspecies
