Hezurdura

A twist in his fate as an egg caused him to be birthed with a dark skeletal pattern, misleading other dragons into thinking that Hezurdura was a ghost of a dragon. Of course this led to rumors and stories and eventually tales began circulating about a skeleton dragon haunting the lair, much to the distaste of Hezurdura.

As he grew, the pattern stayed with him. Hezurdura gradually became more and more morose, resenting the fact that dragons would avoid him due to his coloration. He stayed further and further away from the light and bustle of the main areas of the lair and receded into the dark and forgotten corners. Caves that were carved out and never used became his home and rumors of a dark skeletal dragon lurking in the lair became tall tales and legends told to young chicks to keep them in line. While some of the dragons dismissed these as mere legend, the eldest and the youngest knew of the danger lurking in the unused sections of the lair.
