Deri is a nervous wreck. She is bad at socialising, and gets awfully clumsy when she tries not to be. She is introverted and shy, and doesn't feel comfortable in big groups of people. At least, in big groups of people she doesn't know, she has learned to be herself among her own clan. She is an artist, she loves to draw and craft things to vent about both positive and negative things. Despite how awkward she is, she is quite positive about herself, and a positive person in general. Her closest friend is Beryl. Though other dragons might get creeped out by his habits, she understands him and relates to him. She tends to clean up his messes and keeps him out of too big trouble. She feels responsible for him, but he does return the favour. They help eachother, Deri helps Beryl with understanding the social norms, while Beryl helps her not to worry too much about what others think. She is a very patient person and you won't see her get angry quickly. Much of the clan likes her and thinks of her as a fragile little thing. Well, she is, but she feels like she doesn't need this treatment from the people she lives with. She likes to bring her sketchbook with her everywhere in case she gets an opportunity to draw some of the pretty scenery or creatures (pffft what no of course that's not a healers reference). When she travels with Beryl, one of her favourite things to do is to draw the unknown landscapes and creatures you can't find in the Viridian Labyrinth. She even has a seperate sketchbook she catalouges several creatures, plants and other things in! They often use it as a guide to find what they need. |
