Lumophen Fighter #40743855 |
Quote:
You come across an area not too far from the hatchling tent where the ground is softer, befit for training. Sternly, but not harshly, a large brown and red Mirror speaks to a gaggle of young, wide eyed dragons, nudging their feet and claws into the correct fighting position. "The first step is to find your balance. You're no use to your clanmates if you keep getting knocked on your side. She uses her tail to give one of the dragons a hefty nudge, but they don't budge an inch. "Good, see --" She stops as she sees you, her wings flaring out to either side with a ferocious glare. She shakes her head, making it clear you are not welcomed here.

______Lumophen, at first sight, is one of the scariest looking Mirrors in the Order. Between her intimidating size and even less inviting garb, most dragons are comfortable to assume that Lumophen is a ruthless, bloodthirsty, and dangerous opponent and leave it at that. In some ways, this is certainly true. She prides herself on this terrifying reputation and she earned every bit of it. But to her own clanmates, the story is very different. She's incredibly protective and is often seen as a momma bear type figure. Like many plague dragons, she believes the strong will survive, but applies that to her own children and the Order's hatchlings by doing her best to train them and prepare them for the world. ______She is certainly not a dragon to be trifled with, but at her core, she does it out of love and care. She is well-liked and respected for these qualities, leading others to gravitate towards her and her mate, Matthew. The two are thick as thieves and proud members of the Immortassacre Family. They believe in cultivating a strong family bond, which used to be very unusual in the Order but has since begun to gain popularity. |

______Lumophen was born in a plague clan that allied long ago with the Tempest Order. Her father was a wonderfully skilled fighter and trained many of the clan's youth, while her mother was a quiet fae dragon with a love for morbid things and traveling. They both imparted a wealth of knowledge on her while she was a child, but she would not stay with them forever. As a show of good faith between her clan and the Tempest Order, they would occasionally send hatchlings to each other to raise as their own. This time, Lumophen was chosen as this hatchling.
______She was worried, but her mother assured her it would be a wonderful adventure, and her father had confidence that she could survive anything that came her way. With these sentiments in her heart, she left for the desert. The journey alone was arduous, but she was always a hardy young dragon. When she got to the Order, she became fast friends with a dragon named Matthew, who became her mate when she grew up.
______They grew a small, but tightly knit family unit that she's proud to raise and call her own. She does her best to impart her children with knowledge of battle and survival, as well as a love for travel, protection of their clanmates, and confidence in themselves.
