Biography
.
His egg shook and shook for a while, before it stopped. Ruby and Sapphire sighed, yet another egg unhatched. So when the sudden pop and a sneeze made them look at the now hatched Skydancer, his parents nuzzled and groomed him gently and he felt safe under his mother's wing. This little hatchling, his parents knew the instant they saw him, was a special dragon. He was the color of the night sky and his wings like the galaxies in it, with a yellow jewel in the shape of a star on his forehead.
He loves to simply cuddle and stay on the nest, listening to the stories of the old Flight and how the Crystal Gale came to be. It was interesting, gentle. A very nice story for him.
He imagined himself in these stories, being playful; even on the most simple tasks, he found enjoyment to be had.
So when his time came to go, he kissed his parents goodbye and went with his new family with excitement and a happy smile.

A curious soul, Eridanus loves to gaze at the star-filled night sky, awestruck by the bright flickers against the dark canvas, all the while pondering the wonders of the world and the universe.
His mind constantly yearns for knowledge and his curiosity can sometimes get the best of him, though his bright outlook on life and wonder means he bounces back quite easily from failures or mishaps. Others think him somewhat naive, saying he sees the world through rose-tinted glasses. Is this true, or is his sense of wonder just that big that he prefers not to ponder the pitfalls of the world, and would rather focus on what makes it wonderful?
Just like he did as a child, Eridanus loves a good story. If an elder dragon is retelling tales of the past, you will often find Eridanus right alongside the hatchlings, listening in awe and reverence.
Friends with Primrose, whom often goes stargazing with him.
