His life as a hatchling was spent training to ensure he could fight. his previous clan put all of their effort and worth into being warriors. That didn't sit well with Lockdown and as soon as he was able he left his original clan for anywhere else.

He lost his right hand to his previous clan leader, leaving him to search and attach a hook to his hand in an attempt to make him fight worthy again.

Being a drifter felt right to him. He continued to wander and drift before master Yoketron had found him and made him a deal. Fight and Train under Yoketron and help protect the clan, he can still remain a free spirit and come and go as he pleases. Lockdown accepted.
