Mortis

Mortis was born as cold and still as death, but gently cooed and steadily blinked her bright, glittering eyes at the world around her. Though on land she is sluggish she shows great deftness in the skies. Dragging stormy air with her she will travel impressive distances, stopping only to draw out subsisting heat and oxygen from recently deceased birds and mammals. This heat and other forms of life energy which she collects have been known to combine with her own vortex of cold air to produce erratic lightning storms. Wound theorises that this electrical energy may one day be harnessed for the purposes of re-animating the dead.
