Eriosyce

Ignoring the few brave sparrowmice who decided to perch on you, you ask Eriosyce about himself, and about the pesky critters following him around. “Well, I just really enjoy the life around me. And I mean, I have every reason too! Have you seen this realm? It’s absolutely delightful, I could explore and talk about it for days on end.” Eriosyce seems to be lost in a daydream for a few seconds, before snapping back to reality. “Where was I?” He questions. You restate your question referring to the sparrowmice. “Right!” Eriosyce strokes the chin of a, rather large and brightly colored sparrowmouse. “These little guys. They’re simply just my favorite creatures. And I like to believe I’m their favorite dragon! Or..maybe I give them their favorite food and good shelter, either one.” You make a comment on his name, and ask what it means. Eriosyce perks up at this, his smile growing wider. “Follow me!” He encourages, and being the lovely dragon you are, you comply. Eriosyce leads you inside of the lair, you see an indoor garden of sorts, mixed with dragon rooms and plants, dragons and animals of all shapes and sizes can be seen living happily in the nest, sunlight filters down, making you feel warm and fuzzy inside and out. Eriosyce has led you to a perch. A cushioned perch, lined with many cacti on a desert-like-soil a tiny moat that seems to run throughout the inside of the liar. Eriosyce pounces onto his perch, a few sparrowmice joining him quickly, all looking down at the pointy plants under them. “See those prickly beauties? Those are eriosyces.” You nod, and open your mouth to speak, but Eriosyce is already talking on and on about the plants, where they grow, and what helps them strive. You stand awkwardly, hoping to escape this fate quickly.
