Mintie

Sometimes concepts—and not just elementals—crystallize into dragons. Mintie is formed from the ideal of companionship. Though the deities warred at one time, now they strive to work together for the betterment of Sornieth. The Stormcatcher, Arcanist and Lightweaver in particular are great friends. It’s from their tea parties, soirees, grand balls, and camping trips that Mintie was born, embodying the cheerfulness that arises from their friendship—as well as each of their colors.
Dragons are, by nature, social creatures, from living together in clans, to forming mating pairs. Their teamwork is what led them to be the dominant species on Sornieth.
However, sometimes dragons experience difficulties. Lost hatchlings, injuries, or depression can make them withdraw. It becomes a negative cycle—dragons withdraw from others because they feel sad; relationships fade; the loneliness hurts.
It is then that Mintie strives to fill the gaps by providing a comforting presence to dragons, even if they can’t see her. She is a sensitive, caring dragon who hates nothing more than to see those who are sad or unconfident. She is drawn in particular to Petalwing, whose amnesia causes her anxiety. The Bogsneak would withdraw, but Mintie refuses to let her—she always asks about her day and how she’s feeling.
The others in Clan Skyseeker are pleased to have such a cheerful dragon around.
