Firebolt

As you make your way away from the hoarder and his trinkets, an explosion rocks the Forgotten Cave. It’s not enough to make you fall again, but the explosion was strong enough to shake stones loose from the cave’s walls. In the eerie silence afterwards, you hear gleeful giggling.

A wildclaw bounds down the tunnel. A sling holding hatchling wildclaws slung over his left side bounces with each stride. They all are breathlessly excited. One of the hatchlings pipes up.

“Papa, papa, that was so fun! Can we do it again?”

“Dearest, there’s plenty more trips if you want to tag along. Those passageways aren’t going to clear themselves!” The other hatchlings cheer in response.

The wildclaw nearly runs into you.

“Oops, didn’t see you there! Say, do you have any Dragon Coral? We just ran out of explosives and we just need that from the caves to make more! Not for free, of course, we have some apparel pieces to trade. Who knows, it might come in handy.”
