You are spending a leisurely time at the beach, celebrating Wavecrest Saturnalia with dragons big and small. The salty air fills your lungs and seems to blow all stress off of you. You decide to explore the seaside, curious what treasures may hide in the sand, between the cliffs or even in the water.
Boulder #1 (claimed by TheFeatherFlock) - This boulder reveals itself to you after a strong gust of wind pulls a dune away like a curtain. The stone is remarkably round and has been smoothly polished by aeons of tides, performing their dance of push and pull. As the boulder gently shimmers in the sunlight, you notice that the area around it seems to be marked by smaller pebbles and rocks. Together, they form a beautiful pattern of trails. Is this a magical site, perhaps? A place for rituals? You wonder who put all of this together, or whether it was just nature at play, but it's beautiful all the same. Disturbing this place might be unwise, but there might be a way to safely reveal its treasures ...
Macaw studies the pattern of the pebbles on the ground with great interest. As her eyes follow the arrangement, its purpose dawns on her ... it quite looks like instructions for dance steps! "That might be strange enough to actually work", Macaw opines and hurries down the beach to gather some helpers. With a decently sized group, she starts slowly following the stones step by step, with as much grace as she can muster. Slowly but surely, the other dragons follow suit. It's a pretty lovely display, all things considered.
The efforts pay off: After a while, the boulder in the middle starts to shimmer more intensely and vibrates, until a blinding flash of light briefly stops the group's dance. As they look again, the boulder has vanished and a dragon has appeared in its stead.
"Oh greetings! Is it already time for our yearly dance festival?" The others can't help but notice that the pattern on his back looks a lot like the dance steps they just followed.
As Macaw explains the situation to the Snapper, he starts to laugh.
"Your curiosity is laudable! I apologize that I'm not a more interesting find. I hope you enjoyed the dance, at least. If you like, I'll gladly come home with you and teach some lovely dances to the rest of your clan! I'll stay as briefly or as permanently as you allow me into your home, I'm happy either way."
