"Royalty, I am only but half, yet I remain a queen of the thundering blizzard."
Battered by the rile of the blizzard, yet reigns over the pain and misfortune of her life as a predator stands its ground, Tahki is the result of the betrayal of Gemfyre royalty. Unknown was the reason for treason, yet never revealed even to her ears. Like the dust in the corner of a lair, the half-blooded princess was swept to the side as if she were a normal clan member. She simply did not exist in the eyes as royalty of her birth clan, Gemfyre. The skydancer had all been but null to the dragons around her; however, this did not deter her from pursuing her dreams. Luckily, she bore a will that was stronger than that of steel- and the ignorance from her elders gave her quite the advantage.

In times of quiet, Tahki would slink away into a reservoir of knowledge that lingered in a neighbouring clan who thankfully understood Tahki's situation. They allowed her full access to their library and resources to which she used to study elemental magic and various star maps that depicted constellations as well as stars that were used as navigation by their ancestors. She often practised her magical abilities when not stuffing her muzzle into a book and became a powerful lightning mage by the time she came of age. During this time, her clan had still not noticed her constant disappearances, though she still held the fear that she would be discovered.

Much had changed in the clan since then, and she and her remaining sibling were receiving better treatment than what they had in their youth. However, she still felt out of place among her birth clan members. Tahki understood that she may never be granted the ability to leave, yet she still remained hopeful that she could one day spread her wings in foreign skies. The half-blood was granted a chance when a godly imperial known as Lord Luut appeared before the clan. He held the might and power that was similar to that of the Lightweaver, and was described by the Clan of Gemstones to be their Saviour. The Lord had only briefly visited the clan to exchange information, though Tahki decided to take a gamble.

She stepped before the two monarchs and disclosed her reasoning. Tahki wished to travel with the Lord and his clan so that she may learn about their culture and the strange magic that surrounded the crystallized hides of the Gemstone members. This was more of a bluff, as she only desired to wander new skies, even if only temporarily. At first, the king disagreed as there was no need, as the Gemstone clan would be regularly visiting due to a move between flights. This was not to the skydancer's satisfaction, so she continued to plead with her stepfather until the Lord finally gave word. The imperial would allow the half-blooded princess to dwell within His clan so that she may gather the knowledge she seeks, but only temporarily. Upon completion of her research, she would be required to return to her birthplace.

Overjoyed, Tahki traversed the open skies into the territory of the Clan of Gemstones. Upon her arrival, the half-blood was granted residence in the Gemstone Palace. She dwells within the Royal Court, an honour that she could not have dreamed of from where she hails. With the same privileges as the General- Arwyn of the Blazing Suns- bares, Tahki is able to experience a standpoint she hath not had before, as well access resources that she had never thought of before. While her stay is short, Tahki enjoys being among the crystallized dragons, even if they are unbearable to look at due to the bright aura that surrounds them. Her bluff before had turned into her passion- through it turned to discover the truth behind the mysterious gemstones that infuse the Clan of Gemstones with magic not found anywhere else. She works the delicate threads of the ancient past as she wonders what others had not- yet only time will tell if it will be revealed.
