Biography

reaversmalll_by_xiphosuras-dc8xjzx.png A raider from regions beyond. 'Reaver' is more of a description than a name, his actual name is an incomprehensible mess of half-sounds that just doesn't work for the dragons of Sornieth. After the gazillionth attempt to get his followers to pronounce it, he just gave up and went by the title of Reaver.

He's a strangely timeless, likely ageless being from far beyond Sornieth's solar system. His dragon shape doesn't hide his alien identity as it seems to shift and change every time he moves. He possesses knowledge of matters too abstract for the dragons to comprehend and has the uncanny ability to affect the minds and moods of regular creatures just by being in their vicinity.
Reaver was a well known and feared adversary in the time of king Apophis' brief reign, centuries in the past. He saw himself as a magnificent being worthy of ruling a mighty, beautiful empire, which he sought to build and expand. He surrounded himself by powerful magic users that served as his courtiers.

How he had ultimately been defeated and imprisoned in ice remains unknown, but something took him and his court out for a couple of centuries. With the recent environmental developments brought on by the overabundance of elemental magic, it looks like Reaver has reawakened to wreak new havoc upon the world.

After some spying and probing from his soothsayer Ario, Reaver has discovered that the dragons of the Icefield and Sornieth as a whole have forgotten him. The is quite distressing to him, as he'd been sure that he'd made a good impression on the wretched lizards. He doesn't show this, of course, but it has made him decide that he'll have to have them all perish for this blatant act of disrespect. He just needs to find a way to accomplish it, which he keeps telling himself he will, soon. Some day. Those darned courtiers are taking their sweet time coming up with a plan for him.
