The moment Grainne heard Niamh's song, she knew she had to leave the Nature territories. Out of all the dragons that heeded the calling, she was the first and so far only one to arrive directly at the source. Now she resides in Wind, but she would never give up her Nature teachings and tendencies.

Despite her snappy attitude, she's a loving dragon. Upon meeting Niamh and hearing his Song, she knew her one true calling was to help educate young Plague dragons to accommodate to life outside their homeland. She knows she can't eradicate their tendencies and she doesn't wish to change them to the core, but she wanted to help them live in peace with a variety of different demons.

From time to time she travels away from her new home in search of new pupils. Grainne often corresponds with the dragons she has met along the way and is friendly towards everyone who seeks her help.
