ACANTHA
WIND - FENG'S GUARD

Loyal / Barbaric / Aggressive

Ferocity and valor both run equally as one in Acantha’s blood. These traits helped her become one of the most revered fighters in the clan, as well as Feng’s first guard. Alongside Xiang, the two work together to serve and protect their leader, Feng.

Although recently appointed as a guard for Feng, Acantha has known the battlefield and has experienced bloodshed several times before in the past. As a hatchling, she was always quite rough with her siblings, as well as with the other hatchlings. This roughness later developed into brutal fighting skills and methods, which she decided to invest more time into once she got older. She quickly climbed the ranks in clan after clan, but Acantha always desired something more in life – that’s when she would leave and journey across the lands to find a new leader to serve and fight for.

Since Acantha has had her fair share of battles in the past, both her body and face are heavily scarred. She isn’t ashamed to show off the scars on her body, but the scarring on her face is so bad that she hides it underneath an impressively metal-forged helmet, straight from the Ashfall Wastes. Along with heavy facial scarring, Acantha also has a crooked nose from it being broken, as well as she is missing a few teeth. Despite her injuries in the past, she will never turn down a battle, and she will always serve and protect her leader.

Most of the clan members would say that Acantha’s fighting is a combination of both Amazon’s and Nox’s – barbaric, powerful, and ruthless. Unlike Xiang, Acantha is not graceful nor swift in battle at all – instead, she is headstrong, often the first one to charge in with an attack, and absolutely furious. Her anger often overtakes her in battle, and most dragons do not come out alive from her bloody wake.

In due time, Idris will soon attempt to overthrow Feng and claim the clan for his own – it is up to both Acantha and Xiang to protect Feng from Idris’ plans. No matter what happens to Acantha in that fight, she will always be honored to have served and protected Feng for the time that she has.
