My dearest, I have decided to travel to Shanokia, to see how our children there are doing. I will also check up on Atropa for you and your mother.

I am now wearing the bracelet you sent, staring at it brings me nothing but comfort. Atropa is still sleeping, but healthy. I told her guard your words, and he shall convey the message. Our children are well, albeit they've decided to wear the armor and wings like you once did.

Ah, I wish to be able to move down to the darkest depths of Shanokia, my eyes have not adjusted well towards the light near the entrance... but there is no homes built down there yet.

How are things back in Sanctuary? Shanokia's civil war has finally ended my love, its quite peaceful here now.

P.S. Rui is a terrifying cousin of yours my dear. He threatened Violenta and Hocus, and ended the war.

I have relayed the information to his advisors of his daughter's well wishes. The portions have worked and helped my sight adjust, it's been quite a relief to see.
There's been rumors of your sister starting to wake, but there's no sign of her yet.

There's also a new shaded face around Shanokia. Hades is his name- he reminds me of how Eros felt. You know what I'm talking about yes? That overbearing presence of your younger uncle, Dismas. It's... unnerving, but Rui's Empress is keeping a close eye on him.

I am quite bored as of late, as well. I was wondering if I should also dabble in some crafts of some kind.

My love, it has been quite some time since i have been able to send a letter out.

This letter has slipped by the watchful eye of... Rui. Due to Nevermost's fleeing.

Rui, the once regal, kind, and terrifying Cousin of yours... has changed. for the worst. He is not himself- something has taken over. He reeks of the worst shade one may see. He was unshaded. Something happened to cause this shade and not even the shade eaters- or Yama, formerly going by Hades in my previous letter, has been able to remove it.

We are not allowed to leave the cavern, and others are barred from entering unless they sneak out the break in the cavern that faces the Sea of a Thousand Currents.
