Midnight. Mesira’s favorite time of the day. She supposes that is kind of obvious to the point of silly given her name. However, at the same time this feeling of almost complete elation when the moon rises and the other dragons slumber seemed counter intuitive. It was, after all, the time of day--or rather, night--that Mesira had to work the hardest.

You see, Mesira was special compared to most dragons. She was born with a unique ability; a gift he supposes. She calls himself a Dreamweaver. She has the power to see other dragon's dreams, enter them, and even alter them if he so chooses.

There was just something so incredibly... fascinating about dreams, both good and bad. Mesira would never admit it, but despite her goal to make sure the others didn't get particularly terrifying nightmares, she took an infinite amount of joy in dream-walking and seeing every aspect of what they dreamed about.

To clarify! She never pries; certain subjects in dreams were best left to the dreamer alone. She also never forces a story, be it dream or nightmare, unless the nightmare is particularly damaging. One reason being that it took a large amount of energy to dream-walk, let alone change a dream's outcome. The other reason being her knowledge of the terrors that happen when her powers are mis- or overused.

Maybe you can see, maybe not, but the stars themselves have chosen Mesir as their interpreter. Their light and melodic blinking actually appealed to her and she wanted her to know them more.
Mesira was born on a cold night, along with her beloved sister, Spire. Both were covered with ice and froze. If it were not for Ariian, they would probably have died. The gray dragon took the young under her winghome, took care of them and taught them. One night, when Mesira and Spire went out on a dark but beautiful night up, it seemed to them that the stars wanted to tell them something. In fact, yes, Mesira was chosen as the interpreter of the stars, and Spire as the Star Dancer.
And since then their lives have changed.

Mesira loves her sister, and Spire loves her. They are nothing without each other, each piece is a piece of a puzzle, as one element will run out, all will go to the abyss.
