Oasis
Despite being located in the Fortress of Ends, the Tempest Clan is warmed by lava running deep underneath the mountain - some would claim it to be a gift from the Flamecaller herself when the fire progenitors of the clan moved into the lands of the Icewarden.
The lava flow warms up the ice, over time creating water channels crisscrossing the mountain. Used as a gallery of sorts and acting as the clan’s main source of fresh water, all channels eventually converge in the middle of the mountain, creating a unique environment and a oasis in the frozen expanse of the ice realm.
Amid the hot springs, the Queen has commissioned a lush oasis of foreign plants to be kept. Not only a clear show of wealth and power, the warmth and humidity keep the clan habitable for the many breeds of different realms that live within the clan.
Overseen by a large group of dragons, the gardens also house a plethora of exotic beasts - fully tamed familiars allowed to roam freely within the confines of the gardens where they can be kept safe, and where no poachers may get to the rarer specimens.
