In Hindi, Amit ( means infinite or boundless) originates from the Sanskrit word amita.
Amita essentially is the negation of mita which means "to measure".

Amit is indeed boundless in many things. Not everything, mind you, no dragon truly is, but ask him a question and he is probably going to have the answer. The answer won't be what you expected it to be, not at all, but it will be right, he can guarantee that. When members of the clan ask him how he's never wrong, he just smiles a small smile and says: "I don't know."

Every dragon finds this ironic.

Of course, Amit is not only known as the knowledgeable one- He also has slight light magic. He is widely known as a multitasker, so this doesn't come as a surprise to any dragon once they find out. They all wonder how he manages to keep the time so well anyways with so many questions. The leaders of his clan are the ones who ask the most questions, which he doesn't know to make as a good thing or a bad thing. He should be thankful that they are asking questions and striving to improve, but he has also noted it is the most troubled that ask him things.

Again, he doesn't know what to make of this. It's strange, because, for one that has answers, he doesn't ask many questions- Instead he embraces the answers he does know and stifles the questions he does have. No one knows why, but they- like him- have learned to accept it.
