Biography

Salamander peeked his way around the withered cactus and adjusted his travel backpack as he trudged on through the sands. He had set out from home not too long ago and found his way into the Shifting Expanse. The terrain was unfamiliar and he stared in wonder at the barrenness of it all. The young spiral flinched as a shadow passed over him.
He couldn’t believe his eyes. A monstrous dragon, covered in spines lumbered past. Salamander had only ever read about Ridgebacks in parchments, due to their legendary aversion to water. It didn’t seem to see him, much to his relief. But now he was at a loss for what to do. So he did what any adventurer would do and decided to tag along. Being as quiet as he could Salamander flapped his wings and glided over to rest on one of the dragon’s back spines. The Ridgeback seemed to ignore him further so the little spiral smiled and curled up to enjoy the ride.
