 Sphinx used to be a travelling merchant who lived in the deserts and drier parts of the Windswept Plateau, where a bargain for a small meal and drink would be something around the whopping price of 10,000 treasure. Nowadays she's settled down and manages the clan's hoard, only really selling the odd tidbit to passers-by, because she doesn't seem to understand why every dragon views her prices as "outrageous" or "extortion", having always managed to sell things at these prices to - in her opinion - very satisfied customers in the dry desert climate. When she needs to get rid of things in the hoard (doing so very reluctantly, as she is a Guardian), she will chuck everything in a pile and let people pay what they wish, but not without a few death-glares on her part for "disgracefully low" offerings. She helped Kraken build the clan's home, at the entrance to a cave which connects to a network of tunnels, by buying important materials and managing the materials he gathered up. Their handiwork is a fantastic success, home of many happy clan members and an easy structure to expand safely. For Sphinx, this means she only has to handle the hoard and logging dragon exaltees, but Kraken continues to work almost non-stop, hunting, gathering and training young warriors of the clan
