Biography
Augmort Emissary to the Southern Icefield
Erebus and their elder sibling and colleague Terror befell the shared charge of exploration during their Search. It led them all over Sornieth, eventually eviscerating the both of them of resources and good health and some say their sanity. A beacon of sense in their shared madness led them back to the Scarred Wasteland where they encountered a lone emissary already carrying the Augmortem strain. A touch of the infection helped repair their scurvy flesh and they agreed to undergo the full systemic transformation and initiation into the Augmortem Strain.
After they ate their rations of Aegror's flesh, she sent them on a final mission of discovery, to find the Western Passage that could enable travel through the Southern Icefield and across the undiscovered exalted void, back to the strange Eastern coast of the Viridian Labyrinth.
With new insulating uniforms, they shoved off, and although Aegror can still feel them in the spiritual miasma, neither Erebus nor Terror has been heard from since.
