______ Sollertis is a fey by nature. He was given up to a family as an egg and after hatching they were happy to raise him, or tried to. No matter how long had been, Sollertis didn´t seem to age. He still retained the playfullness and energy of childhood. Years and years passed and yet he didn´t grow at all. Filled with dispair, his parents begged the faeries to take him back at whatever price. Sollertis doesn´t know what happened after that, but Libby and the rest of the Menagerie gave him a warm welcome and he has stayed witgh them ever since.

______ He takes care of any children that might stumble into the Menagerie and of enrichment for the animals. He also sometimes joins Veld´s show (much to her dismay), making stones and gems dance along with him. He isn´t close to many of the other workers as they consider his ´mortal´ upbringing shameful (Niraj is weirdlyprotective of him for that reason) but he considers Chai his caretaker, mostly because he´s the one that feeds him.
