BIOGRAPHY


XXXCyprothos is a nonchalant dragon who just goes with the flow. He is extremely lazy and can often be found sleeping or sunbathing in patches of sunlight around the Coven's territory with his Ultramel Amphithere Familiar, Sid, wrapped around his neck. Despite his laziness, Cyp is intelligent, fair, and honest. He was chosen as a Counselor because of his ability to see both sides of an argument and offer rational advice free of any sort of bias. His opinions during meetings are valuable and concise. He doesn't let emotion rule over him and prefers to think logically.

XXXFound as an egg on the edge of Calyx Coven territory many years ago, Cyprothos was raised by a now deceased member of the Coven. He has spent his entire life in the Coven and knows all of its rich history and rituals, which is another reason he makes such a great addition to the Counsel. No dragon knows why his egg was left on the edge of the Coven's territory. His adoptive mother, Vyra, a kind and sweet Snapper, spent days searching the area looking for a dragon who had lost an egg but never found anyone. So she raised Cyprothos as her own, treating him as any good mother would by raising him to be a good, kind dragon.

XXXHe loved Vyra dearly. After her death, Cyprothos was a complete and utter mess. He cried nonstop for days on end, unable to let Maelstrom, the Head Healer, take Vyra away to be prepared for her cremation. He clung to her breathless body as if she were still there. Finally, unable to stand watching her friend waste away beside a rotting corpse, Callisto came and wrenched Cyprothos from Vyra's body and hugged him until his tears ended. After a long discussion with Callisto about life and death, the Coatl vowed never to let himself be ruled by his emotions again.

XXXCyprothos and Sid have known each other for a long time. Sid first appeared outside Cyp's home with Vyra, where Cyp found him sunbathing. The young Coatl thought the Amphithere was amazing and said as much, fawning over the winged snake and feeding him bits of seafood. Sid ate up the praise and decided to stick around. Who could resist being told how gorgeous they are and being hand fed delicious morsels? The two have been steadfast companions ever since.
