S T O R Y
Cyanside grew up as a queens-guard to a rogue princess. Her majesty was careless, and didn't care who she had to sacrifice to get what she wanted. There was a legend long ago about a tattered cloth that granted whomever veiled it over their eyes eternal knowledge of the world. This was one of the many things the princess wanted, so she set off with a dozen guards to find clues. They weren't the only ones looking for this artifact, and ran into a group of bandits who were more than happy to raid the group of their riches. During this fight, Cyanside was struck across the face hard enough to blind her left eye, and took a fall over the side of a hill. Dazed, she thought she imagined a woman hiding along the treeline by a large building... Coming to, she realized she wasn't imagining. This woman was just as surprised to see her as she was, but wasted no time coming to Cyansides aid. They exchange names, this mysterious woman being Samedi. She explained what she was doing there before Cyanside had to ask. Beyond the trees was a large building with sky high walls, vines and plantlife overrunning said walls. This place was where dragons belonging to some sacred line were held, a sanctuary named after a myth, a glitch, one who was never meant to exist at all. The Naomi Sanctuary was a a false paradise, one who would lead those descendants to be pawned off, or killed, remains kept as trophies. Samedi grew up fascinated by this myth, ever since she was a child. She had a friend who was a descendant, if she was in there she'd do anything to save her.
