Juniper

He is told that a brother of his lived here once, long ago, when Dawnfeather and Duskfeather still ruled the clan. "Leo was a friend to many", his new companion says, "and some may compare you to him. The Tragedy, and its aftermath, remains fresh in the minds of us older members. Do not worry, though; it will pass, as all things do. Follow your own path, and you'll do just fine."

And so he does, but the path is not an easy one. Many positions in the clan are already filled, and those that remain are things that Juniper just can't manage. An attempt at assisting Arkadiusz almost causes a disaster, a short trek with L'odovyk nearly ends the same way, and a training brawl with Frigga... well, definitely does not go as planned.

Days pass, and still a place for Juniper isn't found. For a while, he spends his time in the library with Merevaik, or talking with Brullyg about the shared flight they both left behind. It's peaceful, but painfully dull... Until a chance meeting with Flecktarn leads to Juniper spending a day with him and his crew, a day when Juniper's role is finally found.

With a steady claw and eagle-sharp eyes, he is the Gunner of the Frozen Juggernaut.
