Shiver was born to a clan of collectors and mountain climbers in Ice Flight territory.

Frozen prisons were in sight from time to time and Shiver felt like maybe that wasn't the most scenic view. Of course the frozen landscape was beautiful when the sun hit it just right in the mornings but he longed for something warmer and greener.

Naturally he was always getting himself into situations - nearly causing an avalanche while exploring a cave, getting lost, and once as a hatchling he was even tricked into freezing his tongue to a piece of metal!

His sense of adventure was the catalyst for him leaving home. He travelled around for months and was approached at an outdoor market by a clan who invited him to stay if he ever got tired of wandering.

Clearly he took them up on the offer.
