The Courteous Commander

Crescent was her parents' third born, a beautiful baby girl they named after the phase of the moon she was born under. As she aged, she took great interest in her father's work as the head of the guard, begging him to let her train alongside the others. As she began her training, she soon began to excel ahead of her peers, her skills outshining those of even her father. When she was fully mature, she noticed how much stress her father was under. He had to help lead the clan, as well as lead the guard. She eventually took over his job, lifting a heavy weight off of his shoulders. She soon fell in love with her fellow guard Valen, having several hatchlings since they became mates.
