Ayano is not afraid to show his rather sick side. He's a dragon native in the ancient ways of speaking to the dead. His kind used to be called Corpse-speakers, but for the sake of the old ways they changed the name once they were unrightfully declared as cultists and necromancers. They were a clan of gifted dragons, long disbanded and their traditions forgotten. Except to those few far descendants.

Ayano is not necessarily a physic. The methods passed down in his profession take a more earthly approach to 'seeing' the dead. With a special ritual he can delve his own spirit down to the final resting places of other dragons and speak to lost souls directly; or at the very least learn how they passed away and discover the knowledge of their fate.

As an Imperial his ties to the Sunbeam Ruins gives him a special connection to the deaths of his ancestors from centuries past. There is no scholar in the clan who knows the terrifying reality of death like he does. Even more so, the knowledge of Emperors. Ayano keeps that knowledge to himself. Otherwise he's very open to tell all he knows of his profession if you're courageous enough to take in the visuals.

His demeanor is naturally distracted, but when engaging in conversation he can be very social. One could even call his dark tone of voice charming. If you happen to be into the same curiosities as his, there is much about Ayano's personality that you could fall in love with.

He's not willing to talk about his own past but has a way of knowing others'. Much of the clan doesn't trust him; it takes a strong-in-the-gut dragon to go beyond an acquaintance.
