Bloodwyn's unique entry into the Temple of Fractured Light is still talked about over a round of drinks on occasion. She fell from the sky smashing into the stone floor at a sped no one would expect her to survive. Embroiled in a battle with several large angry bird like creatures the impact didn't even seem to slow her down. A flurry of tooth, claw, tail and wing it was a short violent fight at the end of which she was left standing while the birds around her lay shredded. Her body was broken, but she was able to stand a few moments more, a glow of what seemed like pride surrounding her before she collapsed. The last thing she did before passing out was to snap at The dragons that stepped into help her.

When she came too she was no less hostile. In his wisdom Fayde had recommended restraining her and those chains seemed to be the only thing holding her back from another fight. Eventually Bloodwynd calmed down. It turns out Shiro’s soothing ways were useful for something. Cleaning her up a lot of what they thought was blood, turned out to be her striking natural color. It seemed fit her. After a few meals and consistent positive treatment, she became more pliable and was let free. Surprisingly she stuck around, there were bets as to whether or not she would take off immediately.

To this day none of the dragons know where she came from. While young, she has suffered a great trauma. She has never talked, communicating like more like a dog than a dragon. Her name was coined for the way she entered the Temple and it stuck. A few of the other Temple members have attempted to make friends, but she is wary. She seems to trust Shiro the most. Fayde has had some success with her, and she is enamoured with the faerie that follow Mystri about.

As far as fighting goes Bloodwynd is the undisputed master of aerial combat in the Temple. Her ability to maneuver at high speed with precision gives her an overwhelming edge while flying. She is savage though fighting like a wild animal, using all her natural weapons to leverage an advantage. She demonstrates little self control, treating even practised like its a life or death struggle. The Temples top instructors are trying to acclimate her to their way of life, but it is slow going.

Bloodwynd's greatest natural asset is her speed. She is capable of creating concussions that can shatter solid objects when flying at top speed. Learning to focus and direct these bursts has given her powerful weapon. In additon to this offensive technique Bloodwynd seems unnaturally resilient while flying, the faster she moves the more her air barrier technique strengthens. This allows her to use her body as a weapon while suffering minimal damage to herself.

Shortly after her arrival a phoenix appeared by her side in the infirmary. The magical bird was responsible for healing all her wounds, and helped to calm her. The Phoenix has since proven wiling to help other dragons with their injuries as well. Everyone calls the bird Cinderbaugh, Grendel insisted that was its name. She is considered one of the Temples most valuable members.

Cinderbaugh is a thrill seeker as well as a healer. It turns out feral dragons don’t make great masters and Bloodwynd has a habit of eating things smaller than herself. Cinderbaugh is however a Phoenix and no matter how many times she gets eaten, she is always reborn shortly after. She sees her time with Bloodwynd as a game never knowing when she might turn around and snap the bird up in her jaws. Rebirth is actually the ultimate high it turns out. It’s an odd relationship to say the least.
