Azurine

History
Azurine was born into a long lineage that has ruled the Farángi region for generations. She has been trained to rule ever sense she was young by her father and various tutors. After her mother's sudden passing, however, her father grew to be rater over-protective of her. He never let her see the kingdom she was meant to rule until she was a teenager, mostly out of fear for her safety. Thus, her perception of the kingdom and its struggles have been heavily warped, more so than usual for someone of such high ranking.

As a young adult she was set to be married off to one of the many nobles in the kingdom. While she had no choice in getting married and starting a family, she was at least given the ability to choose her husband-to-be from this pre-selected pool of suitors. In the end, she chose Erzulie. Not out of love but rather a belief that his powerful magic could only be a boon to the kingdom - one that, perhaps, their children would inherit. Despite this, she tries to keep life comfortable for the two of them. They would later have a son together, Nebula, whom she pampers and protects in much the same way her father did for her. This hasn't stopped her husband from being far more strict in training him as an heir, however, nor has it prevented him from sneaking out of the castle to see the world as it truly is.

She now spends most of her time in the castle, tending to many of the more tedious jobs of running a kingdom while making time to talk to her perceived friend, Anima.
