Attar of rose, vanilla, lavender, sandalwood, a wisp of smoke from a steam gyre - all ingredients for the bottled fragrances that the matriarch of Clan Fox so loves. Perfume was the first to settle in the territory that now constitutes the clan, first clearing the space in order to set up a humble shop selling the perfumes, incense, shampoos and bath soaps that she creates. She never envisioned being the de facto leader of the diverse group that now makes its home in the heart of a twisting bamboo grove, but Perfume cares very much for the clan members' well-being and will not hesitate to defend them if the need ever arises. While she used to delegate the actual running of the clan to others, after a regrettable shade infestation that corrupted many of the clan's exalts, Perfume now keeps a closer eye and hold over the clan, assisted by the clan diplomats. | Her brand of scents is well-known on the Plateau, and Perfume is always happy to help others try out and find their favourite fragrances, and there are no gifts she so adores as new scents or perfume ingredients she can experiment with. Her own quarters are partitioned into her private living space and a personal lab of sorts, where she works on her art. Each of the permanent clan members is gifted with a personalised scent of their own, painstakingly and thoughtfully crafted by Perfume herself. She never travels far from the clan grounds, and occasionally invites clan members for tea to check in on how each of them is doing. Perfume has a pleasant, elegant bearing, and invites conversation with ease. Under her light touch, Clan Fox remains an open, welcoming place for guests and new members alike. |
