Biography

Unicorn Dust

Celestial Horn

Firebrand Tungsten
The vast majority of dragons know the story behind the occurrence of "The Bogsneak Mutagen". Since then, alchemist dragons from all over Sornieth have been recreating and investigating this curious brew.

While many mixtures have ended with a satisfactory result, there are always unsuccessful attempts and leftovers to get rid of. In some laboratories at the Ashfall Waste, these residues are dumped into nearby lava pools, hoping that the lava will simply burn them. Besides, what could happen? Although it might affect someone, taking a bath near a laboratory doesn't seem like the most pleasant idea for any dragon...

Apparently, the lava doesn't completely dissolve these residues, so these pools are now like large cauldrons. At first glance, they are still "simple" and "innocent" pools of lava; but, for those dragons who (for various reasons) get into them, they end up with mutated scales and wings. These features cease to have their normal shape and become flowing lava.

Despite the mutations, these affected dragons don't suffer any type of anomaly that could affect their health. The only notable change is that after mutation, the body temperature is much higher than normal. There is also evidence that if dragons with this condition breed, their offspring will be born with the same appearance as their parents.

Originally named Carla. Visited Rockmama 2018/spring 2019. When I got her back, I renamed her to Etna, after an active volcano to match her mate Loa (28.03.2019).
