Constructed of unfeeling wire and steel, the Consciousness, like the members of the hive that brought it into being, takes the form of a dragon, though its glittering obsidian flanks and empty gaze marks it as explicitly strange. Its joints move stiffly and emit faint clicking noises as linked steel allows for locomotive action, and its wings seem made of fine and aerodynamic mesh. It, like AI, is capable of learning from and adapting to the environment that it dwells within so it may operate efficiently. When it speaks, its voice lilts electronically, tuned to sound neither male nor female but a tepid static in the form of words. However, speaking is rarely necessary, for it communicates through a network of sorts on which each of its hive members are linked. It functions much like telepathy, and results in a hive operating in eerie synchronisation without need for a single word to be spoken aloud.

This particular Conciousness is one of the... stranger ones out there. Their form is shrunken, small, and weak - a mere hatchling, instead of an adult body. It lives at the bottom of a well-hidden ice cavern, where one must pass thousands of frozen bodies to access. It has named itself Briiviiend. A name is not needed for a Consciousness, but it seems to like its name anyway.

Compared to other Conciousnesses, it seems to be more cunning than most. It deals in the form of controlled drones, letting its dragons seep into the dirt, letting its dragons grow their roots and choke out the competition. Harvest their bodies after they're gone, use the lesser dragons' corpses for nutrients and undead soldiers. Patience is key.
