Vincent and Lali soak their eggs in a pool of fruit juices, seeds and crushed ice during the incubation process. They must constantly refill the juice and because this process is so precise, the amounts of fruits added, the temperature, and the chilling time can make each hatchling different tones of red.
While most eggs need warmth to hatch these dragons need cold.

Due to Lali’s opal gene, she feels no adverse effects from the low temperature and when they’re at the perfect moment – they’ll break free with a refreshing wave of raspberry. Due to the chilled nature of Vincent and Lali, these parents are a little more hesitant to let outsiders approach their nest. They will not harm you but you will have to impress them to have them let down their guard.
