Vervloekts parents were enjoying a nap in the warmth of the Light realm, when suddenly they felt a presence. An evil presence. His mother could feel what it wanted, and they hurried towards the nesting grounds. But they were too late, the Shade had already covered their nest. Inside the eggshells, they could hear the desperate cries of their three unborn hatchlings.

One of them was not strong enough, and sent to serve the Lightweaver before she ever saw the sun. His youngest sister was born completely frozen, but still alive. She was exiled to the Ice realm. Vervloekt was the only one to overcome the death curse of the Shade, but his survival came at a cost: his scales were drained of their color, and his entire body was covered in tough, pulsating black crystals. If you're brave enough to peer inside the crystals, you can see the Shade, still trying to overpower him.

He is often zoned out, completely focused on keeping his curse at bay. He knows that if he doesn't fight it, it will be set free and attack those closest to him. He loves being around other dragons, but at the same time doesn't want them to be near him. He will scare hatchlings away with sharp whistles and hisses, and pretends he doesn't know the common dragon tongue.

Vervloekt was exiled like his sister. But unlike her, no realm has yet called him home. He is still roaming the land, looking for someone that can free him from his curse.
